NO WOODWORKING THIS YEAR -- 2017

Woodworking 2016

[Volunteers to run woodworking this season are needed. Please contact Amy Satterthwaite at amy.satterthwaite@gmail.com for more information or to volunteer]

Woodworking will be on Mondays at the Main Dock, from 10:00-11:30 am. The first class is on July 4.

While you are working on your spring projects, don't forget to put aside any surplus lumber you can contribute - boards any width up to 1 inch thick, pieces of plywood any thickness, even 2 X 4s. If you can't bring it to the Main Dock, contact Amy and to arrange for a pick up.

Woodworking guidelines:
- Younger children are welcome if accompanied by a parent.
- Some club tools are available, but we recommend that you bring your own toolbox with a measuring tape, pencil, hammer, a squareheaded red handle screwdriver and a small hand saw. If you don't have a toolbox, we'll show you how to make one.

Please offer any new ideas for woodworking. This is what keeps the program so vital.
