With sadness, the family of Bev Hallberg announce her passing with her daughter Abby and granddaughter, Jeska by her side.

Predeceased by her parents, Brant and Lucile Bonner, and first husband Richard. Bev is survived by daughter Abby; grandchildren, Jeska, Grace, and Jonah, great-grandchildren Alyx and MJ (Mark III); beloved husband and high school sweetheart Jerry; and sister Brye; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Born August 13, 1943 in Greenville South Carolina, Bev grew up in London Ontario, moving to Midland Michigan during her middle school years. No matter where she lived, a part of her summer was spent on the Georgian Bay in Ontario.

Bev graduated with a teaching degree from Alma College in 1965 and taught for several years in East Lansing Michigan before moving to Waterloo Ontario where she married and raised her daughter.

After moving back to Michigan in 1995 she married Jerry and was on the staff of St. Francis Home in Saginaw.

Bev was infected with COVID-19 in December 2022 and slipped away March 10th surrounded by family.

A celebration of Bev’s life will be held at a later date.
