Seeking to appoint three Directors

The Board of Directors of the Madawaska Club of Go Home Bay is seeking to appoint three directors to fill casual vacancies resulting from departures. 

Each incoming director would be appointed to oversee one of the following portfolios:

1) Communications;

2) Athletics; and

3) Treasurer.

If you are interested in applying to join the Madawaska Club Board for either or both of these above portfolios, we request that you please:

  • Email your interest and response to the Secretary of the Club at secretary@gohomebay.com by February 15, 2024;

  • Include in the email a brief description of your experience and skill set that would be relevant to the applicable portfolio(s). Please note that a full CV is not required or expected;

  • Indicate why you are interested in serving on the Madawaska Club Board as a director; and

  • Confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements (applicants must: be a Site Member in Good Standing or a Community Member of the Club (or be prepared to become a Member upon election); be at least 18 years of age; not be an undischarged bankrupt; and not have been found to be incapable of managing property under the Substitute Decisions Act, 1992 or the Mental Health Act, or by a court).

The Board will endeavor to review all submissions and respond to each applicant by March 8th, with a view to selecting and onboarding the three new directors. The new directors would be included in the slate of Board members standing for election at the Club’s May 2024 AGM.
